On August 18, 2009, the United Nations made a special announcement regarding The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning. It will be screened at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Copenhagen December 7 to 18, 2009.

The event will be attended by 190 world leaders and more than 11,000 delegates as they create the world’s first climate change policy. We are deeply honoured to play a small role in this international process.

Here’s what UN Under-Secretary General and Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme Achim Steiner had to say about our film:

"Of all the canaries in the climate coal mine, the polar regions and the mountain glaciers are singing the hardest and the loudest. Mark Terry's new climate change documentary The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning underlines these realities with some of the latest and increasingly sobering scientific findings, providing further stark evidence as to why governments need to Seal the Deal in Copenhagen."

If you would like to be part of this historic event, please contact us at info@theantarcticachallenge.com A few sponsorship opportunities still exist providing a company or an organization a unique opportunity to support a global environmental initiative on an international platform. All sponsors’ logos will be added to the film’s credit roll for all the world to see in Copenhagen. Presenter and Partner Sponsors will also have their logo included in the trailer of the film to be broadcast on the jumbo screen in the town square and on the Climate Express train commuting delegates between Brussels and Copenhagen throughout the conference.

It’s not often one has a chance to make a real difference. The United Nations conference and our film provide that unique opportunity. Show your support today and become part of the solution. The world will be glad you did.
